Cavansite - a beautiful mineral that looks very alien and almost artificial due to its vivid blue color. 

Its name comes from its chemical composition - Calcium Vanadium Silicate, and it is distinguished by its beautiful blue color, which is the result of the presence of Vanadium. It belongs to the group of zeolites, together with heulandite, stilbite, scolecite and others.

It was discovered in 1967 in Oregon, and most of this mineral comes from the Poona district of India.
